Julie began her first role with Biddeford Adult Education as the Childcare Coordinator in 1999. Having previously spent years as a Pre-School Instructor in the Portland area, she was excited for the opportunity to return to her hometown of Biddeford. She became the Family Literacy Coordinator in 2001, and still, holds this position today. Working with children energizes Julie. She states that it is a rewarding career that brings joy, love, lots of laughter, and lasting bonds. “I am blessed to have the BEST job in the world, educating families and working with adults and children.”
Julie lives in Biddeford with her FiancĂ© (Jim) and two dogs (Harley and Bebe). Her son (Noah) lives in Portland with his FiancĂ© (Grace) and her grand kitty. âItâs nice to visit them and enjoy the city. She also has an identical twin sister, just in case you see someone around town who looks and sounds like her, but doesnât recognize you.â In her free time she enjoys thrifting for great books, especially children’s literature, and riding with Jim on their Harley exploring little Maine towns.
