We will review whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents. We will work on integers, one-step equations, inequalities and equations, graphs and functions, percent, probabilities. We will also be introduced to geometry and right triangles.
This introductory course is designed for people with little or no previous study of Spanish. The course teaches basic language patterns and vocabulary. It focuses on learning structures. Repetition comprehensible input and compelling input are important parts of this course. The focus is on all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Spanish and culture are introduced through the use of media dramatizations, gestures, readings and class discussions. Active participation is required as this enables language acquisition in a meaningful and engaging way.
This course will focus on reading, writing, and speaking related to the business world. Speaking to clients, vocabulary, phone etiquette, and report and writing which will improve resumes and career advancement.
Prerequisite: Basic computer skills and a device with internet access
