Diplomas Open Doors
Our High School Diploma program is done in two semesters. Fall Semester is from September – December; Spring Semester is from January – May. If you are interested in getting your High School Diploma, give Stephanie a call 207-282-3883 or email her at satkinson@biddefordschools.me and schedule your orientation. She will review your transcript and schedule you for the classes you need to complete your diploma.
The HiSET exam is a five-part test that is used to issue a high school equivalency credential. The exam allows you to show you have the same academic knowledge and skills as a high school graduate. Biddeford Adult Education does a 3 day Orientation. During that time you will have paperwork to complete, given a CASAS test and take the Official Practice Tests. If you are ready to take the Official HiSET tests, you will be scheduled. If there is a subject or two that you need help in, we will discuss with you your options.
Passing scores show you can perform at a level consistent with high school equivalency. Information from the exam also helps to identify areas in which you are career and college ready, as well as areas in which additional preparation may be needed.
We are here for you – we don’t want to set you up to fail. We are very welcoming and understanding of everyone’s circumstances.
