Diplomas Open Doors
The HiSET exam is a five-part test that is used to issue a high school equivalency credential. The exam allows you to show you have the same academic knowledge and skills as a high school graduate. You can expect to be here for approximately 3 hours your first day. You will have paperwork to complete and given an assessment test in Reading and Math. If the results show you are prepared, we will schedule you for the Pre-Tests. If the Pre-Tests show you are ready to take the Official HiSET tests, you will be scheduled. If there is a subject or two that you need help in, we will discuss with you your options.
Passing scores show you can perform at a level consistent with high school equivalency. Information from the exam also helps to identify areas in which you are career and college ready, as well as areas in which additional preparation may be needed.
